Vice-Principal
We are seeking an exceptional leader to complement our small administrative team. As one of our two vice-principals, you will have an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the development of the school’s policies, programs and curriculum.
Skills and Abilities
• Demonstrated track record of fostering positive relationships with students, parents, employee groups, and the broader community
• Proven ability to lead collaboratively with a consensus-seeking leadership style
• Highly effective and respectful interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Strong leadership in overseeing and guiding learning
• Leadership that champions current curriculum and teaching pedagogy, including the integration of educational technology
• Innovation in fostering inquiry-based teaching and learning practices
• Exceptional organizational and management skills
• Effective leadership in critical incidents and high-stress situations
• Comprehensive understanding of effective assessment and evaluation practices
Areas of Responsibility
• Collaborate with the Principal to share administrative and leadership duties
• Support the Principal in organizing and developing an educational program aimed at enhancing student achievement, including data management and School Plan implementation
• Assist the Principal in the execution of various initiatives, promoting a respectful, safe, and caring school environment
• Foster a consultative, collaborative, and teamwork-driven approach within the school, community, and with parents
• Provide leadership in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and evaluation for students
