Our client is a well-established leader in the food manufacturing industry, dedicated to delivering quality products to their customers. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced (fully ticketed) Maintenance Millwright to join the team at their Red Deer facility.

As a afternoon shift Maintenance Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment within the Red Deer plant.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in liquid displacement pumps, conveyors, rollers, simple boilers and heaters, and small electrical engines. A strong understanding of machine and system schematics is essential for effective preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and root-cause repairs on high-speed machinery and equipment, with a focus on pumps, pneumatics, conveyors, automated machinery, and hydraulics issues.

Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:

Install, align, dismantle, and repair stationary industrial machinery, with a focus on liquid displacement pumps, conveyors, rollers, simple boilers and heaters, and small electrical engines.
Inspect and examine manufacturing machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions, and perform PMs.
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including automated machinery and basic PLC troubleshooting.
Adjust machinery, repair or replace defective parts, and perform PMS and root-cause repairs on high-speed machinery and equipment.
Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during maintenance or set-up.
Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on machinery.

Qualifications
What you'll bring:

Red Seal or Journeyman Millwright ticket mandatory.

3-5 years of experience in pumps, conveyors, and automated equipment is a bonus.
Basic electrical, fabrication, welding (stainless), and machining experience.
Knowledge or ability to quickly learn CMMS programs (SAP) is a bonus.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
