Our client is a successful manufacturer of original equipment for manufacturing, and the successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical design and development of products and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the architectural design and development of products and systems, will formulate and implement technical specifications and testing methodologies, and will be conducted in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives, commitments, and performance goals. REQUIREMENTS – Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

.

- 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical machine and automation design, preferably involving work or program launches in the automotive or related industries.

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field within Engineering.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, complemented by excellent organizational skills.

- Comprehensive knowledge of all facets related to automation of manufacturing processes

- Skilled in the use in 3D solid modelling AutoCAD and SolidWorks for engineering design tasks.

- Expertise in presenting complex technical information and familiarity with CAD and CAD/CAM Circuit Design.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.

- Proficiency in hardware specifications, manufacturing methods and procedures, quality control in manufacturing, and product development stages.

- Competency in dealing with complex scenarios, effective information dissemination, and demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities.

- Demonstrated experience in requirement analysis, design skills, technical presentation, equipment maintenance, conceptual thinking, quality focus, and general consulting abilities in control engineering and product planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES – Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

.

- Execute effective project management strategies within time-sensitive and budget-constrained environments.

- Participate in the quotation team to structure project programming and process flow.

- Order essential parts and materials in alignment with project requirements.

- Utilize engineering principles to research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, systems, and processes, thereby fulfilling project and operational objectives.

- Conduct comprehensive research programs to assess manufacturing processes, employing expertise in product design, fabrication, assembly, and materials. Engage with equipment vendors and operators for confirmations and observations.

- Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and disseminate technical information.

- Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, other engineers, and pertinent authorities to facilitate seamless project execution.

- Research and analyze design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the viability, cost, and maintenance implications of designs or applications.

- Specify system components or product modifications to ensure alignment with engineering design and performance benchmarks.

- Investigate equipment failures to propose design modifications aimed at eliminating machine or system malfunctions.

- Study industrial processes to identify opportunities for equipment application, offering constructive feedback to design engineers as needed.

- Ensure compliance with company machinery guidelines and governmental regulations.

- Oversee and assist in the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment to confirm adherence to specifications.

- Contribute to or develop new business proposals, emphasizing project viability and strategic alignment.

- Generate requisite follow-up documentation to affirm that equipment has been built and operates according to design specifications.

- Optimize manufacturing efficiency through workflow analysis, space requirements planning, and equipment layout considerations.

- Provide essential manufacturing engineering information by responding to questions and requests.

- Complete design and development projects by offering training and guidance to technicians.

- Scrutinize the design effort to ensure project delivery within stipulated timelines and budgetary limits.

- Assume a level of responsibility and accountability commensurate with the seniority of the position.
