Come work as a Locum Therapeutic Endoscopist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

The Division of Gastroenterology at Vancouver General Hospital seeks a locum gastroenterologist who is qualified in the area of therapeutic endoscopy. The candidate must have completed an advanced therapeutic endoscopy fellowship beyond core gastroenterology training at a Canadian, American or European university centre. 

 

A minimum of two years of experience, either via a two-year fellowship or its equivalent in clinical experience beyond fellowship, at an academic centre, is mandatory. One to two years of advanced training in ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, luminal stenting, balloon enteroscopy and endoscopic mucosal resection is required and experience with endoscopic submucosal dissection and NOTES procedures are an asset. 

 

The successful applicant will show demonstrated potential in teaching and for the duration of the locum position, be expected to participate in the undergraduate as well as postgraduate teaching activities of the Division and Department.
