What we are looking for:
You will be a part of the Product & Technology team and play a key role in transforming data from many data sources with data hygiene and vendors into business insights and actionable recommendations for Marketing, Sales and the Product & Technology team to improve the performance of advertising, CRM, events, Volvocars.ca, Volvo Cars app, Volvo Cars retailer advertising, retailer websites and sales funnel conversion.
In this role you, will perform data hygiene, quantitative analysis, design and build recommendations across Volvo Cars Canada departments with the aim to optimize and grow the Volvo Cars Canada business. This includes determining data requirements, following data hygiene best practices, implementing and QA of tagging, extracting and manipulating the data, setting up tracking, conducting analyses, and developing a clear narrative with easy-to-follow actionable insights. You will confidently build and maintain PowerBI dashboards and visualizations that communicate and convey these insights.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a detailed measurement plan for National and all 37 retailer website properties , including setting up website and ad tagging & tracking to drive accuracy and precision in reporting, measuring high value actions & any new critical actions aligned to the monthly sales offers and quarterly advertising and enabling effective remarketing. This technical set up and regular reporting will be executed in partnership with the national media agency, retailer website vendors, digital retail vendors, lead management vendor and with the Marketing team.
- Partner with Customer Service and Certified by Volvo on the establishment of measurement and tracking within national and retailer website monthly
- Partner with Events and CRM KPIs establish measurement framework and reporting to monitor & drive insights that will help marketing optimize investments leveraging Salesforce and in partnership with external events vendors and with consideration of the Volvo Cars customer database
- Develop and implement the Lead Management measurement framework, and corresponding technical set up, across multiple data sources, including tagging, reporting and analytics with our lead management vendor, digital retail vendor, and website vendors with consideration for our Volvo Cars customer data capture in collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Product & Technology team
- Lead the Business Management monthly reporting development to drive actionable insights for Marketing, Sales and Product & Technology team can take to deliver on the annual commercial priorities down to a vehicle model level.
- Lead on the Product & Technology annual KPI measurement, forecasting and reporting, with benchmarks, leveraging historical data and with consideration for the business goals inclusive reported monthly in partnership with Motoinsight digital retail vendor leveraging Google Analytics and PowerBI
- Lead on data hygiene across multiple data sources to ensure that all reporting is clear and accurate.
- Partner with Volvo Cars Mahwah Digital Team and Volvo Cars Global to align and implement to the global analytics, CRM framework and drive data classification & hygiene, ensure data privacy flags and hygiene corresponding frameworks and ensure that all data is flowing into the datalake and into lead management vendor to retailers via Lead Management vendor
- Lead on API and tool integration across vendors spanning national, ecommerce digital retail and retailer websites working collaboratively with the Volvo Mahwah Digital Team
What you will bring to Volvo:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data or Information Management or related field
- 5-8 years experience in analytics and corresponding technical set up with complex vendors
- Experience in website tagging and tracking set up across owned and third parties using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Data Studio is critical
- Power BI proficiency in development with multiple data sources and clear visualization is critical
- Excel, SQL data analysis experience in management and data hygiene and across complex and multiple data sources is critical
- Tableau, Salesforce experience are valuable
- Experience with GDPR and Canada data privacy regulations
- Data analysis, visualization, strong presentation and communication skills
- Experience in collaboration across departments
- Project management skills, proven multitasking skills with a proactive “take initiative” mindset
- French language proficiency is valuable
- Experience within the automotive industry is ideal
