Experience : 7 months to 1 year of related experience or training
Duties:
- Apply coats of plaster or stucco to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings using brushes, spraying equipment, trowels etc.
- Apply texture materials over walls and ceilings.
- Cure newly plastered surfaces.
- Add decorative textures, apply finishing coats etc.
- Mix plaster ingredients to achieve desired consistency or thickness.
- Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim.
- Prepare surfaces for plaster by cleaning them.
- Apply stucco coats using trowel or spray equipment to the exteriors of buildings to make the surfaces weatherproof.
- With a trowel and broad knife, fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound.
