Wages:
$21.50-$27.78
As team lead, you will be responsible for the implementation, operation and evaluation of all aspects of food production, distribution and quality control. You will assign and monitor the work of the Food Service staff, train new personnel and perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties
- Team lead/supervisory skills is an asset
- Red Seal - Journeyman Cook
- BC Employees: Food safe 1 (post July 29, 2013) and Food Safe Level 2 or equivalent. Alberta Employees: Food Safety Certificate or equivalent.
- Three to five years Institutional Cooking experience preferred (other relevant experience may be considered.
- Experience working with the elderly and disabled is preferred
- Food preparation experience in a long term care facility is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal English
- Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships
- A genuine interest in working with the aged and chronically ill
- Good organizational skills
- Computer skills are an asset

Requirements:
- A current and clear Criminal Records Check Form and if applicable a Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.
- A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.
