Clow Canada's manufacturing facility is located in Saint John, N.B. with a sales and head office in Hamilton, Ont. and a stocking warehouse in Medicine Hat Alberta.

Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
Position Summary:
Responsible for the receptionist duties and assisting various departments with administrative duties. This position will also provide direct support to the General Manager, Plant Manager, Office Manager, Human Resources and other departments as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Receptionist duties including the answering of calls and greeting of all visitors, contractors etc.
- Various administrative duties including filing, posting memos, support in organizing events, booking hotels, travel arrangements, distribution of incoming mail etc.
- Experience in payroll would be an asset.
- Assist and support in freight tracking.
- Support to purchasing department as required.
- Support production with Inventory updates, inventory adjustments, scrap adjustments and product adjustments.
- Running and closing off of product orders
- Maintain filing systems, accurate records and retention
- Support to Hiring and Orientation of New Employees
- Tracking of employees for long service awards
- Provide backup to Accounts Payable and accounts receivables where necessary
- Managing of petty cash, tracking of cheques etc.
- Responsible for receiving packages and materials
- Support to General Manager, Plant Manager, Office Manager and Human Resources
Education and Skills:
- College Diploma in Office Administration
- Work related office experience (Minimum 3 to 5 years)
- Very organized, able to multi task and high attention to detail.
- Proficient at Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Knowledge of MES systems such as Shop Vue, AX, Payworks an asset.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills and able to work within a team
- Demonstrated drive and initiative
- Good communication skills (i.e verbal and written)
- Must be able to work independently and able to problem solve
- Good data analytical skills
- Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
