Job description

WSP is currently seeking a Student to work as Civil Drafter to join our Power Team in Ontario. Reporting to the Structural Engineering Manager, this position will be responsible for providing design, drafting, and modeling capabilities to the Transmission and Distribution design team.

The Transmission and Distribution Team services utility clients in the power distribution and transmission, transportation and transit, buildings, and other institutional and government clients. You will apply your civil design and drafting knowledge on hydro project work from conceptual design through completion. Technical quality, cost-effectiveness, and team working attitude are integral parts of this role.

Require an experienced person to work under supervision, from the early stages of a project to the final designs certified for construction. Must be able to organize workload and meet agreed schedules.
