Who are we?
We are a small but vibrant intellectual talent agency that requires a Contracts Manager to replace someone who is moving to Europe after over five great years together.
What is the job?
90% of our agreements are all the same, 8% have recurring issues such as NDAs and electronic rights, and 2% seem to take on a life of their own. Communication skills are key. Talking through issues is faster and more respectful than torrents of emails. For this reason, communication skills are critically important.
You'll be working with some of the most famous names in the country and in the world, protecting their IP and bank accounts! Your colleagues are intellectually curious, fun, supportive, and focused. As much as possible we believe that the job can be done between 9 am and 5 pm. Occasionally something unexpected happens but that is the exception, not the rule.
Who are you?
You have a background in contracts as a paralegal, law clerk, or similar experience. You have strong written and verbal communication skills, are well-organized, and thorough.
Salary is $75,000 to $90,000 depending upon experience.
