About this role
We are recruiting for a Junior Project Manager/ Estimator to join our Service division in the Burnaby office. Here's how your role will strengthen our team.
Your responsibilities
- Coordinate aspects of the construction process, including RFI's, procurement, scheduling, commissioning, O&M manuals.
- Coordinate project communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- With support from management, develop project schedules, review contracts, estimate changes, purchase materials and equipment and manage the project financial performance.
- Develop / assemble start-up submittals and other project documentation.
- You may also engage with contractors, engineers, architects and vendors.
- Work with foreman and site superintendents to review the project documents and discuss labour requirements and staffing.
- Work with the Safety Manager, on-site team to ensure safety on site is our #1 priority.
Your experience and skills
- 1+ years of previous project manager or estimating experience in a related industry. Will also consider those with project coordinating experience.
- Basic understanding of contract law, project management and estimating
- Electrician TQ, Electrical engineering degree, diploma, or other relevant education a strong asset
- Proficient in MS Office. Experience with AutoCAD, Accubid, MS Project, are an asset.
- You must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills .

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and overall match to the position offered. Let's chat throughout the hiring process and determine the best fit.
