Job description
Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Business Analyst to their team for an initial 12 months of contract which is renewable. This role is currently hybrid, 2 days a week in office in Toronto. Responsibilities Include: -Responsible for analyzing, designing, and delivering high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. -Document requirements, analyze and design changes, and work with a diverse range of technologies to implement new systems or enhance existing ones. -Actively collaborate with business representatives to drive technology solutions aligned with the business strategy. -Monitor applications and provide support for business queries and concerns. -Collaboration with other groups, particularly trade floor risk management (TFRM), is essential. -Coordinate and collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts, infrastructure and change management teams to achieve project goals and identify opportunities for process and system improvements. Qualifications: Must Have Skills: -A BA/BSA with at least ten years of experience in the business and IT industries along with Bachelor's degree in related field -Ability to read and write intermediate SQL queries, as well as basic Linux experience -3+ years of recent working experience in risk management is essential for the ability to support project work. Strong understanding of Capital markets and financial instruments Nice-To-Have Skills: -Market risk exposure and Tableau experience is an asset
