Your Role
As Grain Contracts Administrator, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Merchandising and Grain Accounting teams.
Day to Day
- Generating grain invoices for customers, applying payments to invoices and account reconciliation
- Reviewing and monitoring accounts receivable and processing grain unloads
- Providing exceptional customer service and entering accounts payable information into the system
- Grain contract management duties
- Working closely with the grain merchants to ensure timely execution of commodity delivery
- Process payments to producers
- Weekly reporting and monitoring along with month end tasks and responsibilities
- Working with the grain accounting team as well as our grain locations across Eastern and Western Canada
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Agribusiness, Business Administration or Accounting
- Experience or background in the grain industry would be considered an asset
- Attention to detail is critical
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and solid analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Application Suite
