Responsibilities
- Building New and repairing/overhauling Large Die Cast Molds that can weigh up to 150,000 lbs.
- The Toolmakers are responsible to assemble, fit and plumb these tools.
- There is some machining, Bridgeport, manual Lathe, and Surface Grinder.
- Expectations of the Toolmakers are to head up a build
- The Toolmakers sample to run some Dies and the Toolmakers support the sample run as well after they complete


Qualifications
Requirements:
-3+ years experience in heavy manufacturing with set-up and operation of conventional and CNC machines
-Understanding of G-codes is essential
-Knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments (calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators and scales)
- Programming experience is an asset, must have a basic understanding
- Must have experience machining hardened steel
- Tool and Die License
