Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
1. Invoice Generation: Generate and send out invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Payment Processing: Record and apply payments received from customers, ensuring accuracy and proper allocation.
3. Collections: Follow up with customers on past-due accounts via phone, email, or mail to expedite payment and resolve any outstanding issues.
4. Credit Management: Review and assess credit terms for new and existing customers, establishing appropriate credit limits and terms.
5. Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
6. Aging Analysis: Monitor accounts receivable aging report, identifying overdue accounts and taking appropriate actions for collection.
7. Customer Communication: Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and disputes related to billing and payments.
8. Reporting: Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports and metrics for management review, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related
field preferred.
● 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related role.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
● Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
● Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
