Job description

Our client in the GTA is seeking an experienced Operations Manager.
Overseeing a waste/recycling/scarp plant operations and ensure the efficient and full-cycle functioning of the facility.
We are looking for a Operations Manager to join a growing waste/recycling/scarp facility in the GTA.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for running the supervisors and production team.
The ideal candidate will come from a waste/recycling/scarp background.

Responsibilities
- oversee a small team of supervisors and an indirect team
- maintain inventory of parts and equipment materials
-monitor and maintain equipment, facilities, and infrastructure to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- document and track down time, create procedures and solutions to minimize
- know and follow ISO procedures
- recommend continuous improvement plans
- liaise with outside vendors, contractors, and city/region partners


Qualifications
- 5+ years in leadership
- Strong managerial skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- knowledge of plastics or recycling industries
- Experience in a plant is mandatory
- Proven track record of success in managing and improving operational processes.
- Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development and implementation of organizational goals.
