Job description
Maple Walls & Ceiling Ltd. is looking for 2 carpenters for their business located at 14740 89A Ave Surrey BC, V3R 7Z9. This job is full time with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.
As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing the following job duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Prepare layouts according to building codes using measurement instruments.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood
- Work efficiently while adhering to all safety standards
- Use measuring tools to ensure precise cutting and shaping
- Build wooden structures according to customer specifications
- Construct, repair, and install wooden frames for new home projects or commercial projects
- Do all other activities as assigned

What we offer:
- $30.00 per hour
- 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
- Terms of Employment: Full-time permanent position
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required
- 3-5 years of experience is required
- English as a language skill is required
