Job description
Based in Jacksonville, NB, McConnell Transport is a family-owned and operated business and has been transporting fresh, frozen and dry goods across North America since 1978. The successful candidate will fill the important role of Dispatcher within our Operations and Logistics team. Previous experience is not required. In this position you will: Work independently and in a team Monitor, the fleet to ensure on-time service. Be organized and able to react to changing needs Set up on road repair as required Communicate with customers and drivers via email and phone Match freight to equipment The schedule for this position is four days (nights) followed by 4 days (nights) off. On-the-job training is provided for this role.
