Job description
Our client, a large, Unionized Food Manufacturer who pride themselves in quality &value in their products is looking for an HR Coordinator to join their Brampton, ON team! This person will be responsible for processing weekly, unionized, hourly payroll for up to 100 hourly employees depending on peak season.
HR Coordinator:
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will provide support to payroll and talent acquisition as well as basic HR duties. You must have a strong background with ADP workforce and Time & Attendance to be considered for this role.
HR Coordinator Details:
- Schedule: On site
- Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm
- Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000
- Benefits from Day 1
- 3 weeks holidays
- 5% Bonus
HR Coordinator Duties:
- Responsible for processing weekly payroll for 100 hourly and salaried employees through ADP Workforce
- Auditing time and attendance data including tracking for hourly employees.
- Provide effective associate communications through a variety of methods.
- Prepare, maintain, update, and file all employment payroll related documentation.
- Prepare and/or update job summaries for new and existing positions.
- Respond to general HR inquiries and employment verifications.
- Schedule and coordinate appropriate training resources and enrol participants.
- Maintain training records and process any/all educational reimbursements.
- Maintain organizational charts.
- Responsible for processing payroll and benefits administration
- Prepare documentation to initiate short- and long-term disability process.
Qualifications:
- Membership in the Canadian Payroll Association and achievement of the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) preferred
- 3+ years’ experience related to HR/Payroll with experience handling weekly payroll.
- Proficiency with HRIS payroll systems (ADP Workforce) required
- Unionized manufacturing experience an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
