POSITION: QUALIFIED TEACHERS FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
DEPARTMENT: SCHOOL OPERATIONS
SALARY: FROM $46,527 TO $92,027
DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
COMPETITION NUMBER: BANK2024-2025
LOCATION: IN ONE OF THE NUNAVIK COMMUNITIES
STATUS: FULL-TIME REGULAR AND REPLACEMENT
START DATE: JULY 2024

Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (KI) is a school board offering educational services in the 14 communities of Nunavik.

We are looking for passionate and creative teachers for the upcoming school year at the p rimary and secondary levels in both English and French sectors.

SUBJECTS TAUGHT:
• General education
• Second languages and social sciences
• Science and mathematics
• Special education
• Physical education

QUALIFICATIONS:
“Brevet d’enseignement”, teaching permit or provisional teaching permit valid in Quebec or equivalent in another Canadian
province.
The Board may, at its discretion, waive any or all of the afore-mentioned qualification requirements if it finds a suitable candidate
who is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement and who accepts, as a condition of employment, to follow
a training plan determined by the Board.

REQUIREMENTS:
Fluency in the language of instruction (English or French depending on the sector).

CLASSIFICATION / SALARY / BENEFITS:
Salary & benefits as per the Teachers Collective Agreement of the Board: from $46,527 to $92,027 annually depending on
experience and qualifications.
