Receptionist job opening in Markham, ON (medical)
Adecco Professional is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Receptionist job opening in Markham, ON for a leave of absence. This medical facility is located north-east Markham and is looking or support from now until the end of March and possibly longer as well. Please note that this position is the front line support for their HR team so much of the interactions will be with colleagues / staff of the organization. Our client is hoping to get some strong support in to their busy HR team with both front desk and administrative support functions. This position is working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm. Some of the responsibilities for the Receptionist job opening in Markham, ON may include but are not limited to:Answer and redirect calls and voicemail that can come in spurts, at times high volumes
Calls may require you to take manual messages, and some directed to applicable departments or voicemail
Acting as the first point of contact for the HR department team; this includes phones, emails, meet and greet etc.
Support a high volume of emails and verbal requests from staff
Assist in letter creation, letters of employment and other administrative requests
File creation, filing, adds/changes etc
Assist with payroll entry as needed
Additional ad hoc HR administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
Some of the required qualifications for the Receptionist job opening in Markham, ON include:
Just 1 year experience in a busy front desk reception role; preference to those from medical related industry
Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral along with the confidence and ability to interact with all levels of staff; internal and external
Mature, confident and professional; patient and compassionate
Ability to control multiple priorities, while also having the ability to take initiative and think on your feet
