Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our client's legal team as a Law Clerk.
The successful candidate will provide essential support to our legal professionals, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal operations. The Law Clerk will assist in legal research, document preparation, and overall case management, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research using various resources to support case preparation.
- Summarize and organize legal information for easy retrieval by legal professionals.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, affidavits, contracts, and correspondence.
- Assist in the review and organization of legal documents for court filings and client matters.
- Ensure all documentation complies with legal requirements and standards.

- Assist in managing and organizing case files, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, courts, and other legal professionals as needed.
- Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings to ensure efficient case progression.
- Provide administrative support to legal professionals, including managing calendars, answering phones, and handling correspondence.
- Assist in billing and timekeeping processes as required.

Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Legal Studies or related field.
- Proven experience as a Law Clerk or in a similar legal support role.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingualism is an asset
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
