Our client, one of our fast-growing clients in the legal industry is an expert in various aspects of business law, primarily concentrating on transactions in the commercial, real estate, and financial sectors. They operate in three key Canadian cities and are looking to expand their team in 2024.

Your new role

The chosen candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Examine and analyze invoicing transactions to guarantee their completeness, precision, and uniformity.
• Discover and implement developments in the invoicing and reviewing processes.
• Provide assistance to the Sales accounting team in examining month-end results and producing financial reports as required.
• Carry out activities related to the end of the month
• Formulate, monitor, and provide reports on key performance indicators to ensure the billing is ready for deadlines.
• Offer support to the agents handling invoicing.
• Verify that the invoicing is balanced considering the following factors: shipments, warehouses, mills.
• Engage in the audit requests during the Quarterly / Year-End period.
• Take part in any IT testing if necessary.

What you'll need to succeed

• Completed college degree or equivalent
• 2-3 years related experience in a pertinent role
• Bilingualism
• Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, etc.)
• Knowledge of a major ERP platform is considered an asset
