Job Duties
Job Duties - Provide reception and administrative duties for the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program.
- Provide detailed and accurate information to student, public, faculty and agencies about programs, services, procedures, and policies.
- Utilizing various software products generate, format, edit, proofread, and print a variety of materials such as letters, memos, reports, and forms. Experience in Microsoft Teams is considered an asset.
- Develop, manage, and maintain a system for student assignments, attendance, records and communication.
- Provide administrative support to ECE program head and instructors through the development of documents ensuring accuracy, visual identity, and standards.
- Responsible for distribution of documents and information received for the ECE program
- Sort and prioritize incoming mail.
- Collaborate with instructors in the ECE program for maintenance of courses.
- Other assigned clerical duties.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)- A recognized Office Administration certificate or an equivalent combination of education and experience, which must include training and/or experience in minute taking.
- Two years recent and relevant experience performing administrative and clerical work.
- Training and/or experience at the intermediate level in the use of common software packages, i.e. MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of common office procedures.
