About this opportunity
We are looking to hire a Digital Adoption Specialist (“DAS”), managing Toronto and the Atlantic Provinces as a practical clinical expert to partner with customers and sales territory managers to drive the journey of digital adoption of iTero intraoral scanners in dental offices.
Based in the field and working in close partnership with Sales Territory Managers and Regional Manager (Prairies), the DAS is a key partner to both the customer and sales partner as they demonstrate their comprehensive knowledge of dental office processes, workflows, the dental industry, and thorough iTero proficiency. As a clinical expert but also a sales team member, you will build and leverage influential relationships with doctors by providing them with tailored insights and experience to enable and inspire them to modernize and grow their business with optimization of iTero digital technology. This role will report directly to the Regional Manager, Dental in Alberta.
In this role, you will…
- Strategically work with sales and commercial support functions to prioritize opportunities, playing an active role to enable customer efficiencies.
- Work as a clinical mentor to internal partners and external partners regarding best demonstrated practices (including assuming responsibility for train the trainer functions and IDI.
- Stay active and engaged with important dental care related organizations to stay abreast of trends and changes in dental/ hygienist practice that impact our business or customers.
- Utilize up to date knowledge of the dental industry to provide clinical input for new product development and software enhancements.
- Apply a consultative selling approach to provide insights to customers regarding industry trends and consumer profiles to inspire them to modernize and grow their business; assisting them in implementing digital technology and refining office processes; all with the objective of achieving territory sales targets (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Utilize data/analytics to help customer’s drive decision making.
- Educate customers on products to ensure the practice is clinically comfortable with Invisalign and iTero products and services.
- Be creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently with a high sense of urgency.
- Orchestrate additional internal company resources to optimize the customer experience and provide ongoing promotion of Align /iTero solutions.
- Diagnose positive and negative results and lead the triage and execution, accordingly, communicating results to leadership Handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizes tasks based on organizational need and judgment, and handles working independently in remote office situations productive while maintaining focus on brand strength.
- Effectively and independently manage booking of travel within company guidelines; ensuring to adhere to personal expenses and expense reporting requirements in a timely manner.
- Have a bias toward action, is self-motivated, and a self-starter.
- Be creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently with a high sense of urgency.
- Other special projects or duties as required or assigned.
In this role, you’ll need …
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience required in a training or consulting role.
- Minimum of 4 years of similar experience; with preferably in a related health industry (i.e., dental, orthodontic, practice etc.).
- Related clinical education and experience required (i.e., Dental hygienist, Dental Assistant).
- Committed to providing a consistently high standard of customer service.
- Proven time management, multi-tasking as well as problem solving skills.
- Proven capability to navigate through change and operate with speed and agility.
- Strong focus on teamwork and a proven experience building and leveraging relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
- Solid written, oral and presentation English communication skills, with French/English bilingualism an asset.
- Possess superior communication skills, in both verbal and written format, who can synthesize and deliver complex information with clarity and diplomacy.
- Charismatic, effective & engaging presenter to audiences of varying sizes and composition (including study clubs, conferences etc.
- Computer proficiency including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and internet research ability.
- Live and work in an assigned geographic territory to facilitate the required regular travel within that territory 25 to 50% of the time with some evening events and overnight travel required.
- Good driving record, regular travel within the Toronto Area and Atlantic Provinces, possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada and travel within Canada (and occasionally to the US).
