What you’ll do
It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:
- This position is accountable for completing internal health and safety validations in Store environment, including compiling data, evaluating trends and opportunities to improve Health and Safety processes, in partnership with Management teams within Health & Safety and Region
- Responsible for completing Health & Safety store validations and processes including preparing validation documentation, identifying risks and action plans, communicating results with Management
- Support Health & Safety and Store Operations teams to assess and report on levels of risk and compliance based on Company Policies/Procedures and legislative requirements
- Accountable for completing regular validation activity reports, reviewing and analyzing data to share with Health & Safety and Regional teams
- Identifies opportunities to build and improve on various existing processes, programs and current standards that directly impact Health & Safety activities in the business
What you’ll need
To begin your career with us, we require the following:
- Some knowledge of validation processes and/or health, safety, and environment practices
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to build cross-functional relationships across the organization; ability to provide guidance and information to business on health and safety process; bilingualism an asset
- Good project management and organizational skills to help prioritize activities and resources to meet the department needs; ability to track, update and maintain project activities and timelines
- Demonstrated problem solving skills including analysis of information to effectively resolve issues and implement solutions
