out the Opportunity
- Provide direct support to the CFO and Director with reporting on a regional IT project (will require hands on support with a complex array of people involved);
- Assistance for year end audit preparation and oversight for some staff and the working papers
- Navigate audits associated with some of the smaller funded programs where any unspent funds are sent back to the Ministry
- Ensure all reporting and audits include all costs and are accurate
- Experience with driving Process Improvements across financial and operational controls
- Any other Adhoc tasks as assigned
About You - Accounting Designation - CPA CA preferred
- Manager, or Director level who has had experience with Audits – either as an auditor, or managing a larger audit from the company perspective.
- 5 years of experience oversight for accounting teams at Manager or above level.
- Willingness to “roll-up sleeves” and be hands on as required while adhering year end deadlines
- Exposure to Not the profit sector / payroll is an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced excel skills
