Job Description: Regional Manager, Business Development - Western Ontario

Safesidewalks Canada is the market leader in sidewalk asset management and trip hazard repair. Beginning in Alberta in 2012, we have continually grown and expanded, both our service offering and geographical presence into British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Eastern Ontario, and most recently the GTA.

Responsibilities

The Regional Manager will oversee our operations in Ontario, with a primary focus on sales, as well as overseeing our local operations team that completes the repair work. They will work closely with our CEO, who oversees our sales team, as well as with our Director of Operations, who manages our operations team and production. 

Some of the specific role responsibilities are to, but not limited to: 

• Build up current and create new sales relationships across Western Ontario, including with municipalities and property managers;  
• Systematically lead customer on full journey from first contact to site inspection to quotation to work scheduling and execution to project completion and close; 
• Oversee local operations team, including being involved in hiring, supervision, work scheduling, and quality control; 
• Detailed data collection and reporting, ensuring goals are reached and improvement is continuous; and 
• Any other duties that may be required from time-to-time that can be expected for an entrepreneurial driven organization. 

Requirements

A strong candidate will have: 

• Entrepreneurial work ethic: self-motivated, driven, and do-what-it-takes attitude; 
• Team player mindset: desire to learn, ability to oversee and lead local teams;
• Sales experience: excellent professional communication, customer service and negotiation, preferably in municipal and property management settings; and 
• Disciplined time management and organizational skills: detail oriented for measuring and tracking progress and data capture in CRM and spreadsheets. 

Logistics

• Full time, beginning April 2024
• Work from home flexibility (need to be in GTA region for site visits) 
• Regional focus with some province/inter-provincial travel required 
• Attractive variable/commission driven compensation ($75,000 to >$150,000)
