Job description

You will grow personally and professionally as you take responsibility for the preparation of:
Client year-end files including compilations and review engagements
- Financial statements
- Personal, corporate and trust tax returns
- Corporate restructuring projects
- Succession and estate planning projects
And you will be:
- Managing client deadlines
- Developing a relationship with our clients
- Provided with professional development, both internal and external
- Working on some interesting projects helping our clients with their financial affairs
- Working on special projects such as implementing new software, providing input on the firm’s procedures and policies, participating in staff meetings … yes, your opinion matters!
- Learning from our incredibly talented and experienced management team as you interact directly with owner/managers who are passionate about their businesses and value the role of the accountant
Job Requirements:
What you bring to this role :
- Minimum one year experience in a CPA firm
- A CPA designation or working towards the CPA designation
- Excellent computer skills, specifically Caseware and Taxprep
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment and independently
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships
- Proven organizational skills for prioritizing demands, workflow and meeting deadlines
- Must have a strong commitment to quality
