Job Description:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Order supplies and equipment
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• May drive to other locations for requisition of food if needed.

Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school is required

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a cook is required. In the event that the candidate does not have 3 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate is required

Having a driver’s license is a strong asset.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Attention to detail, Physically demanding, Overtime required

Language: English is required

Salary: $17.00 hourly, 35 – 48 hours per week.

Benefits: Gratuities, Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate.

Important information: Flexibility in schedule is required. Workers will work either 5 or 6 days per week depending on the business needs. Workers will rotate between the day shift (from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and the evening shift (from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM). We are open 7 days a week, so the schedule will change every week. Work on holidays and weekends is required. Overtime is required depending on the business needs.
