Job description

Are you an experienced Industrial Millwright/Electrician who is looking to work for a challenging and rewarding position within the plastics industry?
Check out this full-time direct hire opportunity available in Woodbridge

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will have the following responsibility:
• Troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic failures on high speed and packaging machines
• Modifying production equipment to suit production requirements.
• Attending weekly departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
• Available for occasional off-shift coverage and regular weekend overtime to carry out P/Ms
• Report through a work order system daily all work performed on equipment including any follow up work required.
• Complete all other reasonable tasks put to you by management.

Qualifications
Industrial 433a/442a Certification
• Should have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in plastics and/or high-speed packaging manufacturing
• Must have a solid understanding of hydraulics/pneumatics
• Must demonstrate a good understanding of the English language and following detailed instructions
• Must be familiar with Industrial machinery safety standards
• Must know and practice emergency lockout on all equipment
• Experience with plastic is an asset
