As a result of our robust growth we are seeking Fish Processing Plant Workers to join our team.
Primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Unloading fish from fishing vessels and transporting to work area in the fish processing plant
- Cut and clean whole fish for further processing
- Set up and operate machines to box or package fish products
- Condition whole fish for shipping
- Weighing fish, recording weight and packing fish in ice
- Cleaning work area and equipment
- Transporting supplies and packaging materials throughout plant and storage area manually or with power equipment.
This position requires standing for long periods of time and using hand tools including knives and pliers.
A general understanding of the processing line is considered an asset; however, on the job training is available.
Available Shifts/Hours are as follows:
Continental night shift (6:00 pm-6:30 am). Night shift premium of $1.00/hour applies to this shift.
