Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Quality Engineer for a Temporary role in Ajax, ON. Responsibilities:
Perform Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) in response to internal non-conformances and customer complaints escapes.
Analyze non-conformances to support the reduction of rework and scrap.
Coach/train hourly and staff personnel on RCCA and problem-solving as part of Site Quality Improvement/Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) initiatives.
Conduct product/process/workstation audits.
Support 3rd party/Customer audits and provide operational support.
Collaborate to reduce non-conformances, scrap, and rework to enhance lead time, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.
Support initiatives like One Model QRQC, 5S, TPM, and Tool Life Management.
Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement, including PFMEA participation.
Support Industrialization Process - DVI/FAI planning.
Ensure timely execution of QA reviews and address Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) raised in QIS.
Requirements:
6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent professional background.
In-depth knowledge and experience in Root Cause/Corrective Action methodologies.
Ability to solve complex problems independently, offering a fresh perspective using existing solutions.
Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
