Inventory Warehouse Coordinator

An exciting opportunity is available for an Inventory Warehouse Coordinator working from our Burlington, ON location.
As an Inventory Warehouse Coordinator, you will join a team of engineering, chemical, and fabrication professionals that are passionate about the environment and safety. This is an opportunity to learn and grow with JNE Environmental in sales, customer service, or system design and execution.

The successful candidate’s roles and responsibilities will include:
- Arrange for shipping of completed orders, contact established freight carriers
- Prepare and track shipping documents in accordance with the transportation of dangerous goods act
- Establish delivery schedules where required
- Assemble shipping packages, boxes, barrels in a safe and secure manner
- Loading of trucks with forklift
- Inspect and verify incoming raw materials against packing slips and shipping documents
- Estimate type and quantity of raw materials needed to fulfill client orders
- Keep co-workers informed of inventory, supply, raw material, and other various order requirements, order raw materials as required using established procurement procedures
- Coordinate the production and blending of established products
- Prepare monthly inventory report, prepare monthly shipping reports or other reports as required
- Perform Lab work as required — Certificates of Analysis, etc.
- Attend bi-weekly customer site visits, review wastewater treatment system performance, review and provide opportunities to improve operation of system, troubleshoot any problems, calibration of sensors and document inventory levels
- Assist in preparing, completing and/or maintaining various site visit reports for every visit
- Prepare, complete and/or maintain various sales reports as requested
- Perform lab analysis/work as required
- Assist with coordinating procurement of system components
- Assist with on-site commissioning/troubleshooting of new system
- Assist with on-site product evaluation trials
- Provide input into product/process design
- New product/process development
- Provide input into general product design and/or development
- Keep current on latest technical developments
Education, Qualifications and Skills
- College level diploma in a Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical discipline
- 1+ Year(s) of relevant experience
- Previous sales experience an asset
- Excellent understanding of health and safety issues, follows all prescribed safety rules
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and desire to learn new knowledge and skills
- Ability and desire to offer continuous improvement and product/process suggestions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to think logically and creatively
- Organized and self-directed, task and goal-oriented
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to perform routine local travel
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required
