Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Controller, your duties and responsibilities will include;

- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and statistical requirements while overseeing the internal audit process, guaranteeing adherence to local taxation obligations
- Manage the monthly/quarterly financial reporting process for the business in alignment with requirements, comparing results against defined objectives

- Prepare an annual budget and a three-year long-range forecast, submitting them to the senior management team for review and approval
- Monitor financial performance, identify and explain deviations, conduct risk analysis, and report any deviations and risks to the senior management team
- Effectively oversee cash flow and manage banking relationships
- Lead the finance department and supervise Human Resources functions
- Motivate, coach, and develop the finance team, including conducting routine employee performance reviews and organizing necessary skills training and professional development
- Oversee and enforce corporate governance guidelines, policies, best practices, and regulations using the four-eyes principle
- Advise the senior management team on financial and administrative policies
-Collaborate with management to enhance business processes and drive business strategy
- Provide excellent financial control and ensure an efficient administrative organization
- Work closely with the management team on strategic planning, business development, contract negotiations, and external relationships with Auditors, Banks, and third parties
- Interpret operating results, identify corrective actions as needed, and provide sound financial advice to senior management
- Produce high-quality rolling forecasts and business models to support commercial decision-making
- Strengthen the financial management of the business, its systems, and processes
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely recording of financial data in the General Ledger
- Manage bank account(s), performing timely and accurate reconciliation of bank statements
- Actively manage cash to achieve maximal net-positive cash flow
- Ensure correct and timely collection (Accounts Receivable) and payment (Accounts Payable) of outstanding amounts
- Resolve customer disputes regarding customer accounts and payments promptly and effectively
- Oversee the inventory management program for company equipment and goods for resale
- Manage the third-party payroll services provider, ensuring correct and timely payment of salaries, benefits, and employee business expenses reimbursement claims
- Report damages and claims to the Group Controller, addressing each case in consultation with the Group Controller
- Engage in ad hoc activities upon request by the senior management team
- Manage HR functions, including answering employee inquiries, consulting with managers during the hiring process, overseeing workplace safety, employee relations, compensation planning, labour law compliance, and coordinating employee training programs
- Ensure proper archives of financial and employee records are maintained by company guidelines and governmental regulations

Qualifications
- University degree and CPA designation
- 3+ years of leadership experience and 10+ years of accounting experience
- Sage 300 experience or another similar ERP
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, both verbal and written
- US GAAP and ASPE experience are an asset
- High level of business acumen and leadership skills
