The Opportunity

We are looking for an Intermediate Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team as we chart the course for North American expansion. Your work will directly impact the lives of those receiving and delivering care as well as the families that are often left struggling to care for their loved ones. We are building solutions for an industry that has traditionally been left behind. We are small but growing team. You will be joining a team of experienced engineers with a ton of mentorship opportunity and a chance to make a significant impact on technical decisions and our culture. We believe everyone on our team is a leader in their own right; nobody is below making decisions, and nobody is above doing the dirty work. If this resonates with you, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Owning small to medium sized projects from initial scoping with our Product team, writing technical proposals to shipping well-tested and maintainable code
• Making effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation
• Collaborating with and providing support to other team members
• Conducting Code Reviews

Required skills and characteristics:

• You are familiar with most of our stack: Typescript, NodeJS, AWS, PostgreSQL, and React
• You've worked in multi-person development teams, building and shipping features
• You're able to work through problems autonomously but know when to ask for help
• You have 2+ years of professional software development experience

Bonus skills and characteristics:

• You have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• You love hands-on coding and enjoy being thrown in the middle of mission-critical projects
• You're excited to both teach and learn from your peers
