Account Manager, Indigenous Community Engagement – Alberta

Position Summary

As an experienced business development and relationship professional, you will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing meaningful connections with Indigenous communities. Your primary responsibilities will include cultivating strategic partnerships, spearheading outreach initiatives, and surpassing sales targets on behalf of NPower Canada. Engage in consultative processes, implement inventive follow-up strategies, and actively contribute to brand awareness initiatives within the Indigenous community context.

What we’re looking for!

• Results-driven with a proven track record.

• English/French bilingualism is an asset.

• Lived experience with Indigenous communities is desirable.

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

• Highly motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Asana.

• Previous exposure to social services or related disciplines is an asset.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for in-person activities.

Do you have any of these?

• 4+ years of successful sales experience.

• English/French bilingualism is an asset.

• Lived experience with Indigenous communities is desirable.

• Results-driven with expertise in the prospecting process.

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

• Highly motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Asana.

What you’ll be doing!

• Develop and execute strategies for Indigenous partnership development.

• Seek new business relationships through various prospecting techniques.

• Lead a consultative business development process.

• Assist in spreading brand awareness through lead generation activities.

• Maintain customer sales data in the corporate CRM system.

• Network and represent NPower Canada to enhance its presence.

• Evaluate outcomes through qualitative and quantitative data analysis.

• Cultivate and steward key employer and stakeholder relationships.

• Collaborate cross-departmentally for timely processes and issue resolution.

• Provide support and guidance to applicants, ensuring enrollment targets are achieved.
