Job description
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Executive to join their vibrant team in Kitchener, Ontario, and play a pivotal role in their ongoing success.
In your role as a Sales Executive, you'll assume a critical function in propelling sales initiatives forward, nurturing connections with prospective clients, and advocating for their managed services in private cloud hosting. Your primary mandate will be to initiate fresh business prospects and extend their client portfolio. You'll collaborate closely with the marketing and technical squads to gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s offerings and effectively convey their value to potential clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Qualification: Identify and vet leads through a range of channels, encompassing cold calling, email campaigns, networking functions, and referrals.
- Pipeline Management: Create and maintain a robust pool of potential clients, diligently tracking all engagements and advancement throughout the sales cycle.
- Product Showcases: Execute product demonstrations and presentations to spotlight the advantages of our managed services in private cloud hosting.
- Client Needs Assessment: Comprehend client prerequisites and offer customized solutions that harmonize with their corporate objectives.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the technical unit to devise thorough proposals and cost approximations.
- Contract Negotiation: Engage in negotiations regarding contract terms and pricing to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Exceeding Sales Targets: Surpass sales targets by effectively closing deals and reaching revenue objectives.
- Market Awareness: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to strategically position our services in the market.
- Reporting: Supply regular reports and status updates concerning sales activities, pipeline status, and advancement toward goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven B2B Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in B2B sales, ideally within the IT or cloud services sector.
- Cloud Expertise: A strong grasp of cloud computing concepts, private cloud hosting, and managed services.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the capability to elucidate intricate technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
- Interpersonal Prowess: Outstanding interpersonal skills for cultivating and nurturing client relationships.
- Self-Driven: Self-motivated and target-oriented, driven by a fervor for achieving and surpassing sales objectives.
