The company

IFD Technologies is a thriving tech company located in Vancouver, BC. The company specializes in the design, development and manufacture of products that help electric utilities manage their distribution networks. For the past 25 years the company has grown through our flagship product, the IFD Sensor. Recently, we have expanded our product suite by releasing a series of new and exciting mechanical and digital products.

To support this growth, we are opening a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Port Kells that will manage all assembly and distribution for all our products.

The opportunity

As a Warehouse Co-Ordinator, you will play a key role in setting up, transitioning, and operating the warehouse facility at Port Kells. Your focus will be on developing warehouse systems while being hands on. You will be exposed to a variety of business-related activities including project management, risk thinking, quality assurance and more! Your creativity, initiative, and energy will drive your opportunity.

Qualifications:



• Ability to operate Powered Industrial Vehicles e.g. forklift truck.
• Certification in EHS related disciplines
• 5+ years of warehousing/manufacturing experience
• Demonstrated commitment to learning and professional development.
• Highly proficient English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to use an ERP system (e.g. Acumatica, SAP, Sage etc.)

Job functions:

• Receive, ship, store and deliver materials to the production line.
• Train and develop warehouse/manufacturing team members.
• Develop EHS systems and support investigations where applicable.
• Ensure accuracy of product delivery, inventory, receiving etc.
• Maximize productivity and resolve/aid issues within the team.
• Support processes to isolate escape points and collaborate in RCA.
• Use lean principles to drive improvement activities.
• Communicate and work collaboratively with various teams within and outside the business.
• Support a customer and quality focused culture dedicated to continuous improvement throughout the Port Kells facility.
• Build lasting relationships with customers, suppliers, and the IFD team.
• Participate in training to improve skill set, product and process knowledge and other business-related aspects.

Salary Range: CAD$58,000 to CAD$75,000
