Title of the position: General Manager
Job duties: • Responsible for overseeing and managing the policy, procedures, and practices of ZGG’s operations; • Oversee the development and implementation of the construction process strategy and management for ZGG.; • Act as a central point of contact for clients and addressing important client concerns and requests; • Meet (by telephone or face-to-face) with ZGG clients to continue expanding the breadth and scope of business relationships; • Identify new business opportunities for ZGG with current and prospective clients; • Assess and introduce new technologies to improve the efficiency and financial expenses of ZGG’s operations • Connect with company management, directors, senior managers from other departments and Client Points of Contacts to conduct quality of service reviews; • Evaluate and approve changes to supplier/vendors based on present and anticipated client needs; • Keep the operation teams staffed and proactively trained in accordance with client requirements and governmental safety standards. • Recruit and appoint managers for the operation teams; • Represent ZGG at conferences, meetings, and negotiations with public and private sector clients and partners; • Participate in weekly and monthly performance, revenue, and profitability reviews with managers and other staff; and • Conduct monthly meetings to review team performance and take the hiring and firing decisions.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $53.00 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week
Location of work: Mississauga / GTA
Skills requirements: • College Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or related field required. • Minimum of 3 years in a managerial position. • Must have at least 5 years of work experience in construction is required.
