Job description

Our client in Burlington has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for an Civil 3D Designer to join their growing, but established, site development construction team! In this role, you will be responsible for designing infrastructure and design-build projects, working with designers, engineers and project managers to produce complete drawing deliverables.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate with field superintendents and construction managers, design engineers, and others to meet constructability requirements
• Geolocation and Material quantity take-offs for excavation sites, backfill, gravel roads, etc.
• Design of site utilities including underground waterline, wastewater, electrical, etc.
• Material quantity take-offs (excavation, backfill, gravel road, etc.)
• Produce construction sequences for field operations

• Coordinate with field superintendents and construction managers, design engineers, and others to meet constructability requirements
• Design of utilities (underground waterline, wastewater, electrical, etc)

Qualifications
• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering and Technology
• Minimum 4 years drafting and desiging experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience with site development design
• Understanding of engineering principles, assembly, fabrication, and construction
