Job Summary

The Recruiter, under the direction of the Human Resource Manager (HRM), will be responsible for recruitment of nurses on Vancouver Island for the branch. This will be achieved through the development and execution of local and community recruitment strategy. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring has the branch has the right mix of regulated caregivers to meet the branch staffing need and objectives for South, Central Island and Northern Island.

Responsibilities

Job Qualification

Education

Post-secondary education in related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experiences. Human Resources diploma or in progress is preferred.

Experience

Must have a minimum of 2 years health care human resources experience. Previous recruitment experience required; experience in health care recruitment would be preferred. Experience and knowledge in using technology including MS Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and human resource information systems (HRIS). Previous customer service experience is an asset.

Other Skills, Abilities & Requirements

Travel

The individual must be flexible to travel within reason to network, interview and hire on candidates. The individual will spend most of their time at the branch office.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
