The Opportunity

Columbia College is looking for a Sessional Economics Instructor to teach the following course in our University Transfer Program on campus.

• 
  ECON 260, Environmental Economics, sec (14) - Monday and Thursday from 14:00 to 15:55.

This part-time sessional position will commence in May 2024 and end in August 2024.

Key Responsibilities

The Instructor's primary responsibilities include planning, teaching, marking, and grading the appointed course/s.

Ideal Candidate

• Master's degree in Economics.
• Minimum of two years of experience teaching Economics at another post-secondary institution.
• Excellent expertise with Learning Management Systems (Knowledge and experience with Moodle is an asset).
• Demonstrated success in innovative or student-centered teaching techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in teaching a diverse student body.

Compensation

We offer the following competitive compensation: $8,809.84 per course for a Master's degree holder and $9,833.12 per course for a Ph.D. holder.
