Job description


The Autism Resource Centre, a non-profit organization in Regina, offers summer programs for Autistic youth. The day camp is both goal-oriented and lots of fun! Youth learn life skills and participate in recreational activities throughout the city. All participants are paired one-to-one with a staff member who assist with instruction and ensuring each participant has a safe and positive summer. In this position, you will gain valuable hands-on experience working with neurodiverse youth. Historically, our camps have a high number of campers that identify as male; therefore, we need to hire adequate male staff for safety/support reasons as our community has limited all-gender public washrooms.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to swim in deep water (daily activity)
Interest in/knowledge of Autism
Adaptable & energetic personality to keep up with campers, schedule of events

TERMS:
Available to work weekdays 8:45 AM - 3:15 PM July 3 to August 22, 2024
Must submit a CRC with Vulnerable Sector Search upon hire
