Our client in the Freight Forwarding and Customs industry is actively seeking Customs Rater with 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities
Review each transaction prior to electronic submission.
Research products to determine proper pricing.
As well as related information from other agencies such as CFIA.
Maintain up-to-date commodity (product) database.
Ensure the compliance of customs transactions with CBSA regulations.

Maintaining product databases, maintaining customer, vendor and product notes, maintaining quality controls (QC)
Providing technical support to operations agents, supporting the department supervisor, etc.
Answer various questions from customers and customs clerks.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Customs
- CSS certificate is preferred
- Strong attention to detail, meticulous, resourceful
- Knowledge of customs is considered an asset
- Advanced English with a functional French
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
