Job description
We are assisting a well-known fabricator, installer, and distributor of reinforcement steel and products in North America. Our client is located in Carp Road and is looking for an experienced Labourers to work in their facility as a fabricator and general worker for the day and evening shift!
DAY SHIFT: 6 AM-2 PM- Monday to Friday
Evening Shift: 3 PM – 11 PM – Monday to Friday
Location: Carp Road – Not bus accessible
We are looking for 1 to 2 people to join this team!
Advantages
The rate for the evening shift is 24/hr with an increase depending on the performance
The rate for the Day shift is $22.50 an hour
-Full-time stable hours
-Competitive Hourly rate – 24/hr and an opportunity for a raise
-Monday – Friday, no weekends
-You will gain experience in operating various machinery and equipment
-Opportunity for permanency
-Able to work with a strong and close-knit team
Responsibilities
-Load and unload trailers
-Operate various machines such as a shear machine and a bender machine
-Handle various power tools and equipment – drills, saws, and screws
-Operate the overhead crane
-Navigating the material within the shop
-Arrange materials in designated areas
-Maintain cleanliness in the workspace
Qualifications
-Experience in using various hand tools and equipment
-Experience and interest in operating a machine
-Must be physically fit and highly interested in doing physical labor – handling bigger materials
-Experience in working at a fabrication facility is a definite asset
-Must have experience in general labour
