Title: Sr. Beverage Manager

Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive beverage efforts by Brand Concept working collaboratively with Concept Leader, Operations and Marketing
- Organize and conduct business reviews / ideation sessions with beverage vendor base
- Effectively communicate new programs to marketing, culinary and operations teams
- Manage potential new local vendor partnerships to ensure optimum relationships exist to support innovation, supply, pricing and programs in accordance with company objectives
- Identify, compile, and analyze insights and pricing from competitive beverage programs quarterly
- Access new beverage offerings and product proposals from vendor partners and present insights back to team
- Inputting new and editing current recipes
- Communicate new and obsolete ingredients to Purchasing, IT and Operations
- Facilitate beverage activation process including system updates, pricing and recipe adherence across all SIR concepts
- Drive training and develop education programs for operations teams
- Assist with training and development of Bar Managers
- Assist and execute new in restaurant activations across multiple SIR concepts
- Provide and update bar bibles for all locations
- Ability to strategically work with multiple support departments
- Beverage Cost Key Accountabilities:
- Overall manage and drive beverage cost of goods to achieve business targets across all brands
- Consult on beverage- related pricing decisions with Marketing and Operations
- Monitor locations with inventory or waste issues and follow up with Operations to ensure issues are addressed
- Optimize menu items to meet beverage cost goals while meeting the quality standard of the organization
- Troubleshoot beverage cost issues with Operations Managers and help develop solutions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in comparable industry
- University degree in Business Administration or other related field preferred
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel and Powerpoint in particular)
- Strong knowledge and experience in restaurant operations is preferred
- Strong knowledge of industry trends and beverage innovation
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and deadlines oriented environment
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills with strong attention to detail
- Maintain the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and self-motivate
- Commitment, teamwork and winning mindset – strong collaborative capabilities
- Strategic thinker, successful in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Must be willing to travel to restaurants up to 25% of the time
