Your new company
Our client is looking for a Controller to start in March, 2024. They are a producer in the oil and gas industry and have operations across Western Canada. It is an in-office position downtown Calgary and they have very strong job security.
Your new role
You will oversee all accounting procedures including reporting and financial policies, ensuring regulatory compliance is followed. All production accounting will fall under you and you will have other accounting professionals on the team who report into you as well.
What you'll need to succeed
You will requires strong understanding of the oil and gas industry as well as the principles that apply in this space. You will also need to have strong knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory compliance, specifically in oil and gas.
