Job #4600 – Our client is looking for a results-driven and strategic Financial Controller to join their successful organization. The ideal candidate is fluently bilingual with excellent leadership skills and will be able to oversee the finances for this well-established company. You will be responsible for managing cashflow, identifying any issues and improving the company’s overall productivity and profitability This is a great opportunity to join a thriving family-run business! Reporting to the owners, the main responsibilities include:

• Prepare and manage cashflow
• Produce financial statements and provide analysis, identifying any variances
• Oversee month-end and year-end close process
• Lead the tax planning process and coordinate the audit process
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Report to lenders as required and evaluate and manage risks
• Develop plans for financial growth and recommend changes to improve performance
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

Mandatory:

The main qualifications for this role include:

• Post-secondary education in business, finance and/or accounting
• CPA designation preferred
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience
• Fluently Bilingual in English and French, both oral and written
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Property management experience an asset

What’s the Bottom Line:

• $95,000 – $120,000 annual salary
