Customer Service Representative - Funeral Services

Job description
Our client, a Crematorium in London, Ontario is looking for a Customer Service Representative - Funeral Services with empathy and integrity to help families through the end of life steps for their loved ones.
If you have recently graduated from the Funeral Service Director course or are seeking to become a transfer coordinator this position could be for you.
What we offer:
- $45,000.00-$60,000.00 a year
- Permanent full time with growth possibility.

What you’re doing:
- Meet with clients and explain options for cremation in a direct and empathetic manner.
- Complete death certificates and other end of life government documentation.
- Create invoices and ensure collections are up to date.
- Order and maintain inventory of caskets, urns and all other supplies.
- Arrange for retrieval and transportation of the deceased, willing to assist when needed with the retrieval process.
- This position will start in the office, however you absolutely MUST comfortable being around and touching the deceased various circumstances.
Who you Are:
- Recent graduate for the Funeral Directors program or Transfer Sales certification would be ideal but if you are willing to learn then the position can be trained.
- 2-3 years administration or experience would be an asset.
- Ability to speak to people in distress and work with them in a kind, empathetic and diplomatic manner.
- Exceptional eye for detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with the physicality the role will require at time i.e.: lifting to 50lbs, bending, twisting.
